Membership of GCMA Chilterns and Home Counties Region 

The Chilterns and Home Counties region encompasses Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Middlesex and N/W London.

We get together for meetings at one of our members' clubs, where we hear presentations from speakers on topical subjects. One of the main advantages of regional membership is the opportunity to chat with friends and colleagues in your golf management world and discuss matters of mutual concern and interest.

A round of golf usually follows the serious part of the meeting and the day is rounded off with an evening meal.

Before you can become a member of a GCMA region, you must become a full member of the Association. The GCMA have a  comprehensive website which tells you all about its services, including full details on how to join. Please go to www.gcma.org.uk

Once you have joined the GCMA, you will automatically be at member of the GCMA Chilterns & Home Counties Region (if you live or work in our area) and you will be included in mailings (email )of any communications and notices of activities. A fixture list is supplied,  so that you can put any events in your diary in advance of receiving the notices.

Members will also be invited to join our Chilterns Region WhatsApp group, which is very active and a wonderful source of useful information and help on any golf club management topic.  There is always a GCMA member able to help with any question you may have. 

Membership totals 115, most of whom are serving General Managers of clubs in the region. Members are encouraged to seek payment for membership and meetings from their clubs - after all, it is they who will benefit from the education and information which is obtained.

Attendance at meetings qualifies for CPD points for those members who wish to take part in the association's educational programme. Further details are available from the GCMA website. www.gcma.org.uk
