New Event - Club Officials Day

We have decided to add a new event to the Region's fixture list, and this is a CLUB OFFICIALS DAY day out for teams of 4 from each club. The event will be held at Knebworth Golf Club on Tuesday 18th October 2022.   Teams must include the GM/Secretary and the Chairman of the club board or committee, and the two others in the team must be club officials, who can be directors, committee members or another official from their club.

The object of the day will be to meet and network with other officials from other clubs, learn from each other and share best practice in golf club governance.  The morning session will include discussions on golf club governance, and after a light lunch, we will enjoy 18 holes of golf and a very friendly better-ball competition.  The day will conclude with a two course evening meal.

We believe all golf clubs can benefit from having a better understanding of best practice in golf club governance, and this day will be a great opportunity to share what each of us have learned at our clubs and learn from each other.

The day has been kindly subsidised by both Knebworth Golf Club and the GCMA Chilterns Region, to ensure that all golf clubs who feel that they would benefit from the event are able to attend.
